The Netherlands: Ethoxylation Plant for Maschem B.V.

Maschem B.V., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Musim Mas Group, and Buss ChemTech AG have signed a contract for the supply of Ethoxylation Facility at the site of Dow Benelux B.V. in Terneuzen.

The Ethoxylation Facility is scheduled to be in production in early 2015. The decision for the BCT Loop Reactor Technology was based on BCT's high safety standards, its economic production concept with an effective energy recovery system and the fact that BCT is considered as the most experienced technology provider for ethoxylation.

Buss ChemTech AG will act as general constructor and will take full responsibility of building the plant excluding civil work.

This project is a further milestone in BCT's success story and underlines its strong position in the ethoxylation business. Musim Mas is a further prominent name in the portfolio of BCT which already contains companies like Shell, Oxiteno, Honam, Cognis, BASF etc.

The Musim Mas Group is a fully integrated palm oil corporation. It is privately held and currently ranks second in the world by total volume of palm oil products handled.
